Simple Health Tips and Tweaks

I think most people have a general understanding that our nutrition, the food we eat to sustain our bodies, has the biggest impact on our overall health.  I’m not going to push any kind of diet mantra on you.  Honestly I’m not a big fan of diets.  Anytime I go on a DIET all I can do is obssess about all the things I am not supposed to be eating.  Diets are out there and if they are working for you, that’s great.  All you need is google to find out information on the latest diet trend.  KeTo is huge right now and so is the Galveston Diet, a modified version of Keto and of course there is Paleo.  Sorry people I just love Bread.  I am being smarter about my bread choices and eating less as I get older, but I still love it.  There is a saying literally plastered on the wall of my kitchen that reads  “sans pan, sans vin, amour nest rein” or without bread, without wine there is no love”.  And well, like I said it’s on my wall.  We love bread.  I ended my yo-yo weight up and down days a long time ago.  For me the only thing that worked was committing to making a lifestyle change.  I knew eventually the weight would come off, but you really need to accept the fact that there really is no quick fix.  Instead focus on making healthy choices each and every day.  Make small changes that have big impact.
